Bradford City 0 – 5 Swansea City

It’s always a bit strange when teams from a different country win a competition, and this was that; the first time a Welsh team had won the League Cup. As you can see, it was a very one sided affair, even before Matt Duke got sent off for lunging at Johnathan de Guzmán for largely no reason. Without wanting to sound too harsh on Bradford, Swansea pretty much had this in the bag after beating Chelsea over two legs in the semis. The second match of which is remembered for a very young Eden Hazard assaulting an even younger ball boy. Good times.
