Brentford 4 – 0 Brighton
£12.49 – £49.99
Bees and Seagulls. Makes you want to go to the beach, doesn’t it? Maybe not. Twenty odd years ago, the third tier of English football was called the Second Division. Which is all very helpful. Back then, these two weren’t anything like ready to mix it with the big boys and were lounging down there or thereabouts. In fact, in October 2003 Brentford were lounging in capital letters (being in 17th place in the table compared to Brighton’s 1st). So considering that, this drubbing served could be considered a bit of a shock. Good to see old skull-shatterer Hunt on the scorsheet. Again, maybe not.
