Tottenham Hotspur 5 – 3 Chelsea

You can almost feel the Auld Lang Syne coming off the page here. Eight goals on the New Year’s Day, is it? I’m guessing JT and friends should’ve abstained from that final round of tequilas at 4am. Not that the Tottenham lads fared much better. Probably white wine spritzers for them, though. I don’t know why. A touch of class. Either way, this result was just a blip for Chelsea – the teams were 5th and 1st at this point and finished the season accordingly.
