Aston Villa 7 – 2 Liverpool

Regardless of who you support, it’s always a laugh to see the defending champions of something getting a royal battering. I’m not saying Jürgen Klopp necessarily enjoyed it, but there is footage of him laughing at the insanity of it all. If we’re being honest, it was deflectogeddon; at least three of the Villa goals found their way into the net via the shins and ankles of Liverpool defenders. I think Frank Lampard earnt royalties from the game. But hey, they all count!
