Liverpool 0 – 2 Everton

Tonight we’re gonna party like it’s 1999. It’s quite a long time to wait, isn’t it? 22 years. Five and a half World Cups. The prior version was Kevin Campbell but this time round it was Richarlison and Gylfi SIgurdsson. It’s kind of typical for Everton to overcome Liverpool at Anfield for the first time in almost a quarter of a century and the clinching goalscorer to be arrested and sent away forever. Probably best not to get into that. What’s possibly even more unbelievable is that this loss was in amongst six home defeats in a row for the Reds. All in all, a bit of a weird, unpredictable game.
